Sun-washed courtyard of a Solmara villa with a curved pool

Solmara · Considered stays on the golden coast

Wander into golden hour

Villas, fincas and beach houses chosen one by one — each stay a place you explore, not just a place you sleep.

The idea

We believe a stay should feel like discovery — the slow walk through an unfamiliar door, sunlight on stone, a coastline you haven't earned yet. Solmara gathers the Mediterranean's most quietly extraordinary homes and hands you the key.

Why Solmara

Hospitality, not hosting

Keyed & greeted, in person

No lockboxes. Someone who loves the house meets you at the gate with cold water and warm directions.

Sixty-point inspected

Water pressure, reading light, knife sharpness, the quiet of the bedrooms — checked before every season.

Chef & cellar on call

Private cooks, pre-stocked kitchens, and a wine list built from vineyards you can see from the terrace.

One human, first message to checkout

Your concierge answers in minutes, books the boat, moves the dinner, finds the cove.

Guest stories

Told better by the people who stayed

We planned to see the whole coast. We saw the pool, the market, and one perfect cove — and it was the best week of our year.

Lena & TomasCasa Alba, June

The concierge moved our dinner twice without being asked, because the wind changed. That’s the level.

I’ve stayed in hotels that cost three times as much and remembered them half as well.

About us

Two sisters, one coastline

Solmara started with a farmhouse our grandmother refused to sell and a guest book she refused to stop keeping. Twelve summers later we look after thirty-eight homes along the same stretch of coast — each one visited, slept in, argued over, and loved before it ever takes a booking.

We are not a platform. We are the people who know which house catches the morning light, which cove the wind skips, and which table to book before you land.
